What is Science of Mind®?

A Philosophy … A Faith … A Way of Life

Science of Mind® is the core teaching of Centers for Spiritual Living. Science of Mind is a philosophy that integrates spiritual truths with science and physics.

Simply put, Science of Mind teaches the unity of all life. All thoughts, intentions and ideas flow through a field of consciousness, which is the Creative Power & Presence that creates all life and the world in which we live.. This idea is common to most major religions and is supported by the teachings of psychology and quantum physics.

In Science of Mind, we believe that the secret to living a successful life is to consciously choose positive and productive thoughts.

What is a Spiritual Mind Treatment?

A Spiritual Mind Treatment, or an affirmative prayer, is a prayer that declares a Spiritual Truth. It is a recognition of Spirit’s Omniscience, Omnipotence and Omnipresence, as well as a realization of humanity’s unity with Spirit. This treatment is a powerful method for setting the Creative Process in motion.

It is a direct, focused and organized method using five steps to get to your desired outcome:

    1. Recognition (God Is All There Is)
    2. Unification (I Am One with God)
    3. Realization (Accepting Your Desired Good)
    4. Thanksgiving (Grateful Acceptance) and
    5. Release (Let Go, Let God)

Rev. Dr. Ernest Holmes

– Founder of Science of Mind

Rev. Dr. Ernest Holmes

Treatment is the art, the act, and the science of consciously inducing thought within the Universal Subjectivity, for the purpose of demonstrating that we are surrounded by a Creative Medium which responds to us through a law of correspondence. In its more simple meaning, treatment is the time, process and method necessary to the changing of our thought. Treatment is the process of clearing thoughts of negation, doubt, or fear, and opening to deeply knowing the never-ending Power and Presence of God within ALL.

What is a Prayer Practitioner?

A Science of Mind Prayer Practitioner is a licensed spiritual support person trained to perform affirmative prayer for others. A Practitioner is dedicated to using this gift to uplift, heal and support your spiritual journey. Like other professionals in the healing arts, Practitioners typically charge for their services for one-on-one sessions, but no one is ever turned away due to lack of funds.

Contact a Practitioner if you are in need of inspiration, celebration of a major event and/or healing in any area of your life.

Would you like to meet and possibly schedule a prayer session with a Licensed Practitioner?

Don’t ask yourself what the world needs, ask yourself what makes you come alive. And then go do that. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.
